Houston Spanish Speaking Psychotherapists
Catalina Prebisch, LPC-S
Psychotherapist
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since March of 2012 and a board approved supervisor (LPC-S) since May 2015. My specialty is in helping individuals and families live their lives with fulfillment and happiness.
I work with individuals, couples, and families most of whom are struggling with life transitions and experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety and anger. They may also have relationship challenges, be grieving, or undergoing current or past trauma.
In my practice I will provide a safe and non judgmental environment where you can find a path to healing and change at your own pace. It is only with awareness and understanding of our thoughts and emotions that we can begin to improve our conscious decisions. I use a variety of psychological theories such as Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness to help manage the life difficulties you are experiencing. However I believe that we all experience situations differently and therefore I will match my approach to your values, goals and needs.
My therapy experience includes working at a private learning center, a high school in the Alief ISD, a non-profit organization, a counseling center, as well as a private practice office and a behavioral health hospital.
I have lived in Houston since 2002, but I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
